The unit


Blending their passion for horses and wine was a natural choice for Laurent and Mélanie Cisneros, the owners of the Château de Rouillac. The stables are at the very heart of the property and host high level jumping horses. Mélanie Cisneros, an experienced rider, and LC take part in national show jumping competitions together.

Tasting notes:

A crisp wine with open and generous fruit. Intense bouquet with notes of licorice, raspberry, Tonka bean and rosemary flower.

Decant : Open 30 mn prior

Wine-making process : Alcoholic fermentation and vatting in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. Vatting time: 20 days. Daily punching down and pumping over.
Aging : Aged for 9 months in 2 year old French oak barrels and in stainless steel tanks.
