Overview

The finesse of a great red wine with preserved terroir and the assertive character of the Cisneros family! This historic property located in the prestigious Pessac-Léognan appellation belonged to the famous Baron Haussmann in the 19th century and was bought by Laurent Cisneros in 2010. The Château de Rouillac has been completely rehabilitated and brought back to light. It is today one of the gems of the appellation with a strong commitment to an eco-friendly and sustainable agriculture combining the traditions of great wines and the modernity of the new Century. More than 50% of the vineyard is plowed using animal traction and draft horses that live in the magnificent stables of the estate. The Compass Rose is very present on the property and symbolizes the path traced by Laurent Cisneros and his family.
